Ishwari Patni (ঈশ্বরী পাটনী)

Charjapada is the oldest Kābya- Grantha written in the Bengali language in the Early medieval period. The authors of this gitipadavali were Sahajiya Buddhist Siddhacharyas.

Phullorar Baromasya (ফুল্লরার)

SriKrishna Kirtan is one composed by Baru Chandidas a Medieval Bengali poet. This is the second oldest demonstration of Bengali literary work discovered after the Caryāpada.

Behula (বেহুলা)

‘Phullorar Baromasya’ is the poem from ‘Chandimangal’ written by Kavikankan. This is one of the most brilliant example of realistic writing in medieval Bengali literature.

Maathur (মাথুর)

Behula is the main character of Mansamangal, the well-known mangakavya of ancient Bengal. She was the wife of Lakhinder, son of Chand Saudagar. The story of Lakhinder and Behula is very popular in Bengali households.

SriKrishna Kirtan (শ্রীকৃষ্ণকীর্তন)

Ishwari Patni is a character of Annadamangal Kavya (অন্নদামঙ্গল কাব্য). The poem expresses the greatness of Goddess Annapurna. Bharatchandra composed this poem in 1752 AD

Maathur(মাথুর) stage is the deepest form of grief. This is caught in the composition of poet Shri Vidyapati. Vidyapati dived deep into Radha’s emotion about her sweet memory of Krishna.

Moinamotir Gaan

In the late 18th century, several sub-sects attracted people from the Bratjan group in Bengal. Vritihuda village under Chapra police station in Nadia district of West Bengal is the seat of Sahebadhani community.

In the eighteenth century, the Subedar of Bengal was Murshidakuli Khan. He used despicable and brutal methods to collect revenue. In addition, there was the torture of Mugh, Firingi and Portuguese pirates at that time.

Krittivas Ojha is a prominent poet of medieval Bengali literature. Valmiki’s Ramayana was translated into Bengali in a simple manner. His book of poetry written “Kritivasi Ramayana”.
